Extra curriculum
Our extracurricular sports clubs present students with exciting opportunities to engage in a diverse array of sports, encouraging a healthy lifestyle. Here’s an overview of how they operate:
Club Schedule Flexibility: Clubs can be scheduled before school, after school, or during lunchtime, accommodating school preferences and student availability.
Financial Flexibility: Clubs can be funded either by parents or the school, offering financial flexibility aligned with the school’s budget and resources.
Variety of Club Options: We provide a wide range of sports, including popular team sports like football, tennis, and basketball. Additionally, students can explore dance and gymnastics, fostering creativity and body awareness. Unique options such as NERF clubs and soft archery add a fun twist to the club offerings.
Booking Management: For parent-funded clubs, we manage the entire booking process, ensuring a seamless experience for parents and efficient administration for the school.
Multi-Sports Clubs: Our multi-sports clubs, a favored choice, offer students a rotating experience of different sports. This allows them to discover new activities, develop a range of skills, and keeps the sessions dynamic and engaging.
Equipment and Attendance: Coaches use either the school’s equipment or provide their own, as agreed upon. Attendance is tracked using either the kick out clubs system or the school’s register, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Timely Operations: Our coaches arrive 15 minutes before each session to prepare and set up. At the end of the club, students are efficiently dismissed to their next activity or to their parents, ensuring a safe and organised transition.
By providing a diverse range of sports clubs, our goal is to inspire students to lead active lives, discover their talents, and develop valuable physical and social skills. Our experienced coaches create a positive and inclusive environment, fostering a love for sports and promoting the overall well-being of students.
Alternative Curriculum
Our alternative curriculum program offers tailored support for SEND or vulnerable students, encouraging active participation in education through sports. Here’s a breakdown of how it operates:
- Individualised Sessions: Our skilled coaches collaborate closely with a designated student, conducting personalised sessions crafted to engage and support their unique needs. Working in tandem with your school, we design a customised program targeting specific areas such as confidence, resilience, and social skills. Through individualised attention and guidance, our goal is to empower students to overcome challenges and achieve success both academically and personally.
- Small Group Interventions: Our alternative curriculum extends to small group sessions that focus on specific cohorts of students. These sessions delve into various skills, including team building, resilience, and the art of losing, among others. Covering a wide range of topics, these interventions aim to enhance social interactions, emotional well-being, and personal development. The duration of these interventions can be adjusted based on the unique needs and goals of the students and the school.
By integrating sports and physical activities into the alternative curriculum, we create an engaging and dynamic learning environment for students. The hands-on nature of sports facilitates the development of crucial life skills such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and self-discipline.
